‘Kiezels’ is an installation in a series of ‘Sound Actions’. You hear a stereo recording, of a car driving over gravel, through two horn speakers. For the recording, two microphones were pointed at the rear wheels of the car. You hear the trajectory of the car on repeat, like a lingering needle at the end of a record. You can see the recording on a small TV screen. The sound/video was made for the performance RUIS! (2015).
